Apple slices are a snack-time staple, but they can get a little boring. Get a little creative by offering Palm Beach Creamed Honey in a variety of flavors for dipping your creamed apple slices. We recommend Cinnamon, Pure, and Strawberry Creamed Honey.  It’s a surefire way to satisfy your kids’ cravings for something sweet while providing a good amount of nutritional benefits. Super easy honey and peanut butter toast

Peanut butter toast is a simple go-to snack for any time of day, and adding a bit of creamed honey will keep your kids satisfied between meals. Plus, it’s easy enough for your kids to make themselves.

Simply toast a slice of bread and let it cool for a minute. Then, spread a bit of creamed honey and peanut butter on top. You can also top your toast with sliced banana or strawberries. Sweet, fruity smoothies perfect for summer

    Smoothies are the perfect summertime snack because they’re a great way to cool down on a warm day, plus they’re filling enough to keep your kids satisfied until their next meal. 

    Use creamed honey as a substitute for sweetener in any of your favorite fruit smoothie recipes. You can also add a bit of greek yogurt, rolled oats, and nut butter for an extra bit of natural protein. 

    You can even get a little creative and use one of Palm Beach Creamed Honey’s flavored honey varieties like our delicious Raspberry, or our zesty Lemon flavored creamed honey to compliment your different smoothie flavors.

     

    Baked honey-coated snack mix for crunchy munchies.

      There’s nothing like a crunchy snack when you’re craving a little something during the day, but many crunchy snacks get to be a little too salty.

      You can easily make your own healthy snack mix using plain cereals, oats, seeds, pretzels, and nuts. Pour the ingredients on a baking sheet that’s lined with parchment paper.

      Drizzle some creamed honey on top and bake at 350 in the oven for 15-20 minutes, so the honey melts into the ingredients. Be sure to stir the mixture every so often to make sure it cooks evenly. When you pull it out of the oven, you’ll have a honey-glazed snack mix that’s warm and ready to munch on.

      Adults like sweet, crunchy snacks too, and if you like a bit of spice, try using our Habanero-infused creamed honey or perhaps the Chipotle creamed honey.

       

      Easy homemade honey granola bars for the whole family

         Store-bought granola bars are full of added sugars, preservatives, and artificial ingredients. Luckily, making your own granola bars at home is pretty easy.

        The National Honey Board has an amazing Honey Granola Bar recipe that contains wholesome and healthy ingredients for you and your family. One recipe is enough to make an entire sheet pan of granola bars, so you’ll have plenty on hand throughout the week for a quick snack.

        You can also play around with different varieties of granola bars. Mix in chocolate chips, dried fruit, seeds, and nuts to find your family’s own special granola bar snack.
